Understanding U-100 Syringe Units

Syringe “units” are a volume measurement, not milligrams.

U-100 Volume Conversion

100 units = 1.00 mL

50 units = 0.50 mL

20 units = 0.20 mL

10 units = 0.10 mL

1 unit = 0.01 mL

Why the Same Units Can Mean Different Doses

Syringe units tell you how much liquid you are drawing.

The amount of peptide inside that liquid depends on the concentration created during reconstitution.

This is why the vial amount and diluent volume must be entered correctly every time.
